The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity
January 18-25, 2009

That They May Become One in Your Hand
(Ezekiel 37:17)

Saskatoon schedule

The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, is celebrated around the world each January. In Saskatoon we meet all over the city: both Sundays in the afternoon, each weekday morning for worship followed by breakfast, a noon service with lunch, and four evenings. Everyone is welcome at all services. Invite a neighbour and come!

At some of the services, an offering will be collected for expenses or to support continued ecumenical ministry in Saskatoon. Please be generous. Cheques should be made out to the "Prairie Centre for Ecumenism." All donations are tax-deductible.

The annual WPCU theme materials contain an 8 day series of biblical reflections on the annual theme. These will form the basis for an ecumenical reflection led by Rev. David Jobling & Rev. Together we will celebrate scripture as sacred and living story, sustaining us in our journey of "faith seeking understanding" and calling us forth as Christians seeking reconciliation and unity.
